"Can we just skip the morning hunt?" I snuggled into Alan's armpit after his alarm sounded, digging my morning wood into his thigh. The muffled noises of his family getting dressed and grabbing their guns filtered in through the thin walls. "Once they're gone, weâd have the place to ourselves."
Alan chuckled and kissed the top of my head. "We can sleep in tomorrow morning if we shoot something today."
I groaned. After that fantastic orgasm last night, we'd showered and collapsed into bed, both of us not bothering to put on clothes. This resulted in our very obvious arousal. It would be so easy to never leave the confines of the warm cabin, but to my disappointment, we were there for hunting, not fucking.
"Fine," I climbed out of bed and pulled on my clothes from yesterday. I picked at a spot of dried semen on my shirt with my fingernail and gave Alan a conspiratorial smile. Howâd that even gotten there?
We each grabbed a banana and a canned coffee from the table and headed to the side-by-side, everyone else already on their way to their respective deer stands. I yawned. It was so fucking early, but we had to get into the stand before dawn. We had to be in there before that golden hour where the deer were active and we could actually see them. We climbed into the same deer stand as yesterday, Alan lugging the heater and a fresh canister of propane. It still smelled faintly of jizz and sweat. Could the deer smell it too?
After he fired up the heater with a new canister of propane, we settled in for the watch. I quickly realized how much less awkward it was. The tension from the previous night had drained away. We were back to being comfortable with each other, but it was an unfamiliar comfort. Before, I constantly worried he would find out I had a boner for him, and it made me edgy. I would overcorrect or say stupid things and kick myself for it later, over-analyzing everything I said and everything he did in response. Now, we were on the same page, more or less. I was being honest with him for the first time since I'd fantasized about him while jerking off. There was something extremely liberating about that.
Alan let his hand drop next to his side, and I looked at it. Well, there were still things I was over-analyzing. I still wasn't sure what we were to each other, and what he wanted from our friendship. Were we just fuck buddies? When we weren't together, was he still ogling women and going to bars to tame some strange? Was his hand there because he wanted me to take it in mine, or was he just tired? I dropped my hand too, trying to give him the hint I was okay with holding hands if that's what he liked to do.
I glanced up and my eyes met his. He gave me one of those lopsided smiles that made him look so fucking adorable.
